What fits in 25 square feet.
18 US metros, climate vs non-climate.
All figures rolling rolling rates from the standard rate column, not the online-discount headline. Where only an online price was published, we note the discount and use that as the floor. Click a metro for facility-level sourcing detail.
What operators say will fit, what they say won't.
Sourced from Public Storage, CubeSmart, and Storage Scholars (college-focused) size guides. Motorcycles do not fit. Most other small-household items do.
Public Storage publishes two rates on most 5×5 listings: an “online” rate (the first-month or first-four-month discount) and a “standard” rate (what you actually pay from month two onward). A $10 headline often rolls to $40-$70 by month two.
We use the standard rolling rate wherever the listing publishes both. Where only an online-only rate appears, we flag the promo explicitly and use the discounted rate as the floor with a note. The Memorial Day Sale window inflated headline lows in our 2026-06-03 fetch — those are the most likely entries to roll to standard pricing within 30 days.
